Mae Engelgeer

Mae Engelgeer is a Dutch designer who specializes in working with textiles. She graduated from the Amsterdam Fashion Instituut in 2004 and from the Sandberg Instituut, where she developed her first textile collection at the TextielLab. She opened her own studio in 2013, where she experiments and combines artisanal production techniques with modern ones. Her works are characterized by a typical use of color, pattern and decorative linear elements. Engelgeer collaborates with brands around the world, such as cc-tapis.
