The founders of the deepdesign studio, Matteo Bazzicalupo (born in Parma) and Raffaella Mangiarotti (born in Genoa), both graduated in architecture in 1991 at the Milan Polytechnic, met in 1995 at the editorial office of the magazine "Modo". They have designed scenarios and products for various companies such as Barilla, Coca Cola, Imetec, Smeg and many others. Their Dadelion lamp is exhibited in the Permanent Collection of the MoMa in New York.
