Formafantasma

Formafantasma is a studio founded in 2009 by the designers Andrea Trimarchi, born in 1980, and Simone Farresin, born in 1983, with offices in Milan and Rotterdam. They met for the first time in 2003 at the Isia Design Institute in Florence, but the duo later trained at the Design Academy of Eindhoven. The studio gives priority to matter and process rather than object and form. The attention paid to culture, the environment and society has led the two designers to collaborate with brands such as Cassina, Bitossi, La Biennale di Venezia, Roll & Hill and many others.
