Nawaaz

As a creator, Nawaaz finds inspiration in the process of exploring materials. In 2013 he was part of Design Indaba's Emerging Creatives, a springboard to kickstart his career. Its innovative designs, including mainly limited edition furniture and woven textile art, have captured the attention of collectors around the world. He defined an original aesthetic that is decidedly modern, highlighting his African heritage. Its main focus is “slow design” using sustainable Neo-materials, which often turn waste into new treasures.
