Richard Herre

Richard Herre was a German architect, designer, artist, author and translator. He has recently been rediscovered as a very important representative of 1920s Stuttgart Modernism. As a graphic designer, Herre created the famous “Die Form” motif of the Werkbund exhibition, while for the interiors he created both furniture and lighting and textiles. His Stuttgart chair has recently been re-edited by the e15 brand.
