Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner, born in 1981, is a German designer. He studied product design at HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design where he began to devote himself to designing furniture and objects, experimenting with new technologies that combine with craftsmanship. He develops a keen sense for materials, colors and textures that he pays attention to in every detail. In 2006, he founded his first studio in Offenbach, London, and began collaborations with major international companies such as ClassiCon, Gubi, Pulpo, and Zanotta. Herkner also creates interior architecture projects, museum and exhibition layouts. His work and talent have been honored with various awards such as the Iconic Award and the Elle Deco International Design Award and finally in 2011 he was awarded the German Design Award for the rookie category.
