Tacchini is an Italian company created in 1967 by Antonio Tacchini. All products are made in the Brianza area between Milan and Como with a strong tradition of manufacturing and craftsmanship. This allows the company direct control of their quality, minimizing pollution and energy consumption from their transportation. Tacchini has always collaborated with the great masters of design such as Achille Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini and still continues on a path of reissues that challenge and teach the contemporary.

The A.D.A. lamp, designed by Umberto Riva and produced today by Tacchini, is made up of two simple truncated conical elements: the lampshade and the base. Made of paste-colored fiberglass, when it is illuminated it remains translucent and allows a glimpse of the fibers of which it is composed, thus giving consistency to the light itself. The name A.D.A. takes up the physical conformation of the lighting fixture which seems, precisely, formed by two geometric elements that look like the shape of the letter A". Light bulb included.
