cc-tapis is a company founded by Nelcya and Fabrizio Cantoni in France that has been producing rugs for 16 years, all completely hand-knotted by expert Tibetan artisans in Nepal. Innovative raw materials, patterns and weaving techniques are key parts of its success. A strong respect for the materials and culture of this ancient craft is reflected in the company's ecological approach, from hand-spinning the softest Himalayan wool to using purified rainwater for washing.

Designed by Chiara Andreatti, the Primitive Weave series of wool and cotton rugs is inspired by Moroccan Berber carpets and 20th-century Viennese geometric graphics. Completely handmade, these rugs are the result of the meeting of different cultures, thanks in part to the Nepalese techniques used. Available in a variety of finishes.
