Designed by Jean Prouvé in 1947, Petite Potence was created for his home in Nancy. The lamp was born as a simple luminous body supported by a long rotating steel bar, a functional and pure design that soon became an iconic product. The reduced proportions facilitate the positioning of Petite Potence in smaller spaces. The steel frame is powder coated and the cable features a high quality fabric covered sheath. Bulb included (E27 LED 80mm 12W). Available in different finishes. Right of withdrawal not applicable.

Jean Prouvé

Jean Prouvé was a French architect and designer, born in Paris in 1901. He began his training as an autodidact, later working in the workshop of a blacksmith and finally opening his own workshop and design atelier in 1924. He was one of the first to devote himself to metal prefabrication, becoming a consultant and collaborator with several architects and designers such as Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand. Jean Prouvé has left an important mark on the history of architecture and design: his projects combine material and structural functionality with aesthetic beauty.
