Designed by Konstantin Grcic in 2000, Mayday is a multipurpose lamp: it can be placed on a table, placed on the floor or suspended using the practical handle which also acts as a cable reel. It makes any type of environment warm and welcoming, even for outdoor use. Made of sustainable propylene obtained from production waste, the lamp consists of a handle and opal cone diffuser and is able to be easily disassembled so that each part of it can be recycled again. Light bulb included (E14 220/240V). Available in various finishes. Right of withdrawal not applicable.

For fifty years, Flos has been creating objects of light and igniting generations of dreams. Founded in Merano in 1962 by Dino Gavina and Cesare Cassina, it had a period of strong growth starting in the 1970s: it acquired Arteluce, a historic Italian lighting company, inheriting Gino Sarfatti's designs, which are still produced today. In the following decades it absorbed other companies and increasingly expanded its already very rich portfolio of designer lamps. The principles of Flos have always been to associate with the masters of design, to discover new talents, to have technical and technological authority, and to insert itself into mass culture.
