A coffee table with a sculptural shape that takes inspiration from ancient architecture. Designed by GamFratesi for GUBI, it is entirely made of travertine. The natural beauty of the grain and the vibrant texture of the top create details that characterize the product.
Gubi
Since its foundation in 1967, GUBI has been designing and developing products with iconic and timeless designs, often re-editing past masterpieces that have often been forgotten. Over the years, the two founders, architects Gubi and Lisbeth Olsen, have created a large collection of furniture, putting into production pieces of design history from the 1930s to the present. The aim is to produce and carry forward timeless design, thanks to guidelines such as innovation, functionality and quality.
Gamfratesi
GamFratesi is a design studio founded in 2006 in Copenhagen by Stine Gam, a Danish architect with a master's degree in furniture design, and Enrico Fratesi, an Italian architect with a master's degree in industrial design. Their work combines tradition and innovation, fusing Danish artisanal heritage with the Italian conceptual approach. They have collaborated with numerous international brands, including Gubi. In 2020, they were awarded the Elle Decoration International Design Award for Designer of the Year.
