Rick Tegelaar is a Dutch designer known for his material-driven approach, transforming unconventional and often overlooked materials into innovative and distinctive objects. Combining a background in engineering with product design studies at ArtEZ University of the Arts Arnhem, his work explores the intersection of material research, technical experimentation and refined aesthetics. Based in Arnhem, Rick and his studio create projects that challenge conventional production methods while maintaining a strong focus on craftsmanship, functionality and beauty.
