Three years after the reissue of Mario Bellini’s original project, Tacchini enhances the natural comfort of the Le Mura collection with a new XL version: the depth of the seat is increased, and together with the new, soft cushions that can be moved freely, it introduces a new, more intimate and homely dimension to enjoy its comfort in the company of friends and family. Le Mura XL also highlights the versatility of the original design with additional modules — corner units and chaise longue — that allow for the creation of larger configurations.

Tacchini
Tacchini is an Italian company created in 1967 by Antonio Tacchini. All products are made in the Brianza area between Milan and Como with a strong manufacturing and artisan tradition. This allows the company to directly control their quality, minimize pollution and energy consumption resulting from their transportation. Tacchini has always collaborated with the great masters of design such as Achille Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini and still today continues on a path of re-editions that challenges and teaches contemporaneity.
Mario Bellini
Mario Bellini, born in 1935 in Milan, is an internationally renowned architect and designer. He graduated in architecture in 1959 at the Polytechnic of Milan, where he was a student of Gio Ponti. In the 1960s he began his activity in the world of design, opening a professional studio. From 1963 he became chief design consultant at the Olivetti company. He has received the Golden Compass Award eight times and twenty-five of his works are in the permanent design collection of MoMA in New York. Since the 1980s Bellini has dedicated himself almost entirely to architecture, designing numerous buildings all over the world.
