A Secret Garden by the Navigli

In Milan’s Navigli district, this ground-floor residence opens onto a garden that seems to draw the outdoors into the home. A glass-covered terrace extends the living spaces into the greenery, creating a fluid sequence of interiors and open-air rooms shaped by light, material and changing seasons.

The interiors bring together different eras and sensibilities. Edra’s generous Grande Soffice sofa sits alongside a Moroccan Berber rug and the sculptural Menhir tables by Lodovico Acerbis and Giotto Stoppino. Vintage designs by Paolo Tilche and Vico Magistretti introduce a more intimate scale, while lighting by Bocci and Davide Groppi adds another layer to the composition.

Conceived and furnished by Spotti, the home is an interplay of contemporary design, enduring classics and collected objects, where the distinction between indoors and out becomes almost incidental.

In the dining area, a custom kitchen designed by Spotti is paired with Porro’s Ryoba table and Ex-Libris display cabinet, complemented by Paola Tilche’s Rea chairs and a Crown pendant by Jehs + Laub for NEMO.

Beyond the glass, the terrace and garden become natural extensions of the interior, furnished with pieces by Franco Albini, Paola Navone and Talenti.

Immersed in the historic city of Bergamo, this completely renovated residence is a true tribute to its owner's design and passion for art.
