Michel Ducaroy
Born in 1925 into a family of furniture makers, Michel Ducaroy was a French designer. He trained at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon and then worked in the family business until 1952, when he began his career as an independent designer. In 1954 he began working for Ligne Roset, a company with which he collaborated for a long time and for which he designed the Adria chair (1968) and the highly popular Togo seating collection (1973). He passed away in 2009 at the age of 84.
