Defne Koz & Marco Susani

Defne Koz and Marco Susani are internationally renowned designers who have collaborated for over a decade, creating iconic and innovative products that combine aesthetics, emotion and functionality. Their design ranges from everyday objects to hi-tech devices, from Interaction Design to sensorial materials, with a focus on quality and innovation. Defne Koz, founder of her studio in Milan, has collaborated with brands such as Alessi, FontanaArte and Foscarini, contributing to the spread of design in Türkiye. Trained at the Domus Academy, she began her career with Ettore Sottsass and is today one of the most influential Turkish designers. Marco Susani has brought Italian design into new areas such as Interaction and Strategic Design. After experiences in Olivetti and with Ettore Sottsass, he directed the Research Center of the Domus Academy and moved to the USA, where he led the Motorola Advanced Concept Group and held the role of global vice president of Digital Design at Motorola.
