Nanna & Jorgen Ditzel

Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel were a Danish designer couple. They began working in the 1950s designing furniture with innovative materials. One of their most famous designs, the Basket wicker chair, was awarded in 1950 at the Mostra degli Ebanisti and the following year at the Milan Triennale, while their jewelery line won the Gold Medal at the Triennale in 1954 and the Lunning prize in 1956. After Jørgen's death in 1961, Nanna continued his career as a successful designer until 2005, the year of his disappearance.
