Fredericia
Fredericia is a Danish company founded in 1911 as Fredericia Stolefabrik (Fredericia Chair Factory), by entrepreneur NP Ravnsø. The company is based on a simple principle: the production of quality products through careful selection of materials, functionality and attention to detail. Fredericia produces high-quality furniture, designed to last with the ambition of creating contemporary design that is always dignified, relevant and aesthetically intriguing.
Hugo Passos
Hugo Passos is a Portuguese designer. He lives and works in London, where he founded his studio in 2012. In his vision, design has as its primary aim that of being functional: this is why his projects, from materials to structure, are designed to be long-lasting and "do what they were created for", without however ever ignoring the aesthetics of the object. He has been collaborating for several years with the Fredericia brand, which fully shares his vision.
