The Merci Bob by Glas Italia, designed by Elena Cutolo, is a seat suspended between dream and matter, where the transparency of the crystal sculpts the light. A game of reflections and lightness, where solidity becomes impalpable and the form dissolves into space.
Glas Italia
Founded in Macherio, Brianza, in 1972, Glas Italia is a company that stands out for the production of furniture and accessories entirely in glass. Elena Cutolo
Elena Cutolo was born in Naples in 1966, studied architecture in Naples and Barcelona and graduated in 1992. In 1993 she moved to Paris to collaborate with the architecture firm Reichen&Robert. He has lived in Milan since 1998, began his collaboration with the Sottsass Associati studio for architectural projects and, from 2002 to 2007, with Ettore Sottsass, dealing with interior architecture projects, exhibition installations and design. In 2008 he opened his own studio in Milan. As a designer he designs for companies such as Morellato, Venini (Edizioni Limited), Glas Italia, altreforme, Bosa, Purho, Seletti and Illulian.
