Lámina is a lamp that plays with light and lightness, combining a thin sheet of metal with a delicate luminous line to create a soft but effective lighting. Born as a suspension, today it is transformed into a luminous floor sculpture. Its large white and concave lampshade (165 cm) amplifies the perception of depth, diffusing the light both vertically and horizontally with elegance and sobriety.
Santa & Cole
Santa & Cole is a small independent brand of design products, based in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). Since 1985, the year the company was founded, they have been editing. Founded by Nina Masó, Javier Nieto Santa and Gabriel Ordeig Cole, the company initially focused on creating exceptional lamps for some of the most famous bars in Barcelona. At a time when halogen lamps were all the rage, Santa & Cole introduced the use of natural materials such as wood, sewn cardboard or ribbons, creating a human and warm atmosphere.
Antoni Arola, born in Tarragona in 1960, is a Spanish designer known for his work in lighting, interior design and product design. After studying in Barcelona, he founded his own studio, Estudi Arola, in 1994. He has collaborated with brands such as Santa & Cole, Vibia and Viabizzuno, creating iconic works such as the Nimba lamp. In 2003 he received the National Design Award in Spain. In addition to design, he dedicates himself to artistic research and teaching, distinguishing himself for an innovative approach to light.
