Tacchini
Tacchini is an Italian company created in 1967 by Antonio Tacchini. All products are made in the Brianza area between Milan and Como with a strong manufacturing and artisan tradition. This allows the company to directly control their quality, minimize pollution and energy consumption resulting from their transportation. Tacchini has always collaborated with the great masters of design such as Achille Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini and still today continues on a path of re-editions that challenges and teaches contemporaneity.
In the 1970s, Jean-Pierre Garrault and Henri Delord formed an incredibly close-knit creative duo. Originally graphic designers, with a penchant for lines that emphasized architecture or objects, and a predilection for bright colors that permeated most of their works. Their primary goal was to create objects perfectly suited to their function, a mission they carried out in every aspect of home design – from furniture to roofing, from lighting to interior design. They also achieved this goal through a review of the means of production, adapting them to the themes they wished to deal with. For them, this represented the true heart of design: conceiving each element to obtain a flawless, elegant, balanced and iconic finished product.
