Alberto Meda

Born in Tremezzina (Como) in 1945, graduated in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1969. Technical director of Kartell since 1973, responsible for product development of the labware division and the furnishing accessories division. Since 1979, he has been a freelance designer and has collaborated with Brevetti Gaggia and since 1981 for four years with the design of Alfa Romeo Auto. He currently works as an industrial designer with various companies: Alias, Alessi, Arabia-Finland, Cinelli, Colombodesign, Italtel Telematica, JcDecaux, Mandarina Duck, Ideal Standard, Luceplan, Kartell, Omron Japan, Philips, Vitra, Olivetti, Caimi Brevetti, Th. Kohl, Tubes, Jins Japan, Zucchetti, Arte Sella, UniFor.
