The Frametable 240, designed by Alberto Meda for Alias ​​in 2001, is a rectangular table that combines lightness and versatility. The die-cast aluminum structure, available with painted or polished finishes, supports a 240 cm top, offered in different variations. Thanks to its design and materials, it is ideal for residential and professional contexts.
Alias
Alias ​​was founded in 1979 by Enrico Baleri and Marilisa Decimo together with Carlo and Francesco Forcolini. From the beginning, the founders focused on exploration in design and experimentation with new materials, a value immediately recognized and appreciated by design enthusiasts throughout Europe. The first projects were Broomstick, the series designed by Vico Magistretti, and the Spaghetti Chair by Giandomenico Belotti. Alias ​​is a creative force, an experimental laboratory and a workshop for young designers such as Mario Botta, Paolo Rizzatto and Alberto Meda, free to express their vision.
Alberto Meda
Born in Tremezzina (Como) in 1945, graduated in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1969. Technical director of Kartell since 1973, responsible for product development of the labware division and the furnishing accessories division. Since 1979, he has been a freelance designer and has collaborated with Brevetti Gaggia and since 1981 for four years with the design of Alfa Romeo Auto. He currently works as an industrial designer with various companies: Alias, Alessi, Arabia-Finland, Cinelli, Colombodesign, Italtel Telematica, JcDecaux, Mandarina Duck, Ideal Standard, Luceplan, Kartell, Omron Japan, Philips, Vitra, Olivetti, Caimi Brevetti, Th. Kohl, Tubes, Jins Japan, Zucchetti, Arte Sella, UniFor.
