Riccardo Blumer

Born in Bergamo in 1959 and graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan. He dedicates himself to projects for buildings, houses and interior furnishings and takes part in competitions in France and Switzerland. In 1996 he designed the Compasso d'Oro ADI 1998 for Alias ​​Laleggera and in 2000 the Ilvolo table collection. Since 2003 he has been a teacher at the Academy of Architecture of Mendrisio and since 2006 at the University of S. Marino and the ISAID of Vicenza. He designed the Ilvolo table. Together with Matteo Borghi he designed the Ghisa bench (2008) and the Dinamica stool (2010) for Alias. He lives and works in Varese.
