Nanda Vigo's Due Più armchair is a surprising and enigmatic object, its unique appearance conferred by the use of two seemingly floating rollers. Characterized by an aesthetic that speaks of the Future, it can be considered a manifesto project for Vigo, a synthesis of her two souls: her geometric spirit—evident in the minimal, light-reflecting metal structure—and her eccentric, pioneering spirit, embodied by the Mongolian fur.

Nanda Vigo
Nanda Vigo, pseudonym of Fernanda Enrica Leonia Vigo, was an Italian designer. Born in Milan in 1936, she studied at the Institut Plytechnic in Lausanne and in San Francisco. In 1959, having returned to her hometown, she founded her own studio and began to frequent that of Lucio Fontana, who brought her closer to Piero Manzoni and Enrico Castellani, founding artists of the Azimut Gallery. Between 1965 and 1968 he collaborated with Gio Ponti and in 1971 he received the New York Award for the Golden Gate Lamp. Since 2006 some of his works have been present in the permanent collection of the Design Museum of the Triennale in Milan and since 2014 at the Guggenheim in New York. He passed away in Milan in 2020.
