The Karnak Chair, designed in 1925 by Ferdinand Kramer, is a celebration of form and function, where every line finds its perfect balance. The slightly curved backrest envelops with discretion, while the hand-woven seat tells the beauty of time and material.

Ferdinand Kramer (1898–1985) was a German architect and designer known for his functionalist approach. He collaborated with Ernst May on the Neues Frankfurt project, creating essential and modular furniture and objects. Having emigrated to the USA in 1938, he developed "knock-down" furniture, anticipating the concept of kit furniture. Returning to Germany in 1952, he became director of works at Goethe University in Frankfurt, designing numerous buildings. Its design, essential and innovative, profoundly influenced modernism.
