On the market since 1995, e15 takes its name from the postcode of its first production workshop in London. Renowned for its simple design and the use of top-quality materials, the company combines cutting-edge production techniques with the most traditional craftsmanship. With the launch of its first collections on the market, e15 emerges as one of the companies that has made solid wood processing one of its strong points since the beginning.
Philipp Mainzer
Born in Germany, Philipp Mainzer studied product design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and architecture at the Architectural Association in London. In 1995 he co-founded the modern furniture brand e15, defining its innovative philosophy and distinctive identity. His internationally awarded designs have become icons of the brand and exhibited in museums. At the same time, he practiced architecture in New York and has continued his practice in Germany since 2001. Member of the executive committee of the German Design Council, he regularly lectures on architecture, design and branding. He is currently the creative and administrative director of e15 and his architecture studio.
