Costela is a seat designed by Martin Eisler and re-proposed by Tacchini, a design icon that combines elegance and informality. The wooden structure with rounded bands, which embraces the backrest, is the focal point of the design. Practical, removable and recyclable, this seat respects the principles of sustainability, while maintaining a simple and refined aesthetic. Available in different finishes.
Tacchini
Tacchini is an Italian company created in 1967 by Antonio Tacchini. All products are made in the Brianza area between Milan and Como with a strong manufacturing and artisan tradition. This allows the company to directly control their quality, minimize pollution and energy consumption resulting from their transportation. Tacchini has always collaborated with the great masters of design such as Achille Castiglioni and Gianfranco Frattini and still today continues on a path of re-editions that challenges and teaches contemporaneity.
Martin Eisler
Martin Eisler (1913-1977) was an Austrian-Brazilian architect and designer, known for his contribution to Brazilian modernism. In 1955, together with Carlo Hauner, he founded the furniture company Forma, creating iconic pieces such as the "Reversível" armchair. Their creations stand out for the elegance of the lines and the innovative use of materials, combining European aesthetics with Brazilian craftsmanship. Today, their works are highly sought after by collectors and represent significant examples of 20th century modernist design.
