Refolo, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1953 during her stay in Tokyo, is a modular system that reflects the influence of Japanese aesthetics on her work. Composed of a horizontal wooden structure made of 19 parallel slats, it can be used as a low table, a bench or, by adding cushions, as a sofa.
