Since its beginnings in 1966, Kettal has demonstrated an international vocation, focusing on design and innovation. In the early 2000s, it acquired the Hugonet and Triconfort brands, and currently collaborates with leading international designers, including Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni and Hella Jongerius. Kettal's aim is to create functional and expressive furniture that represents a contemporary culture and responds to current living needs. True to its philosophy of respect for the environment, it uses non-contaminating paints and the woods used are protected by the Perhutani certificate.

Vincent Van Duysen is a Belgian architect and designer, born in Lokeren in 1961. After graduating from the Saint-Lucas School of Architecture in Ghent, he began collaborating with Aldo Cibic in Milan and with Jean de Meulder in Antwerp, Belgium. He founded his own architecture firm in 1989, which today has more than thirty collaborators, where he designs luxury homes around the world, working with pure, tactile materials to create clean, timeless designs. Over the course of his career he has won several awards, including the Henry van de Velde Lifetime Achievement Award, and has been creative director of several brands, such as Molteni&C, Dada and Kvadrat.
