The VELA collection, composed of sculptures suspended in space, tells a story: named after the constellation Vela, the chandeliers use the Rakumba Typography system as the axis for the entire structure, formed by spheres and elliptical discs. Each of these can obscure or frame the entire composition, creating plays of light and shadow. Seven different accessories can be placed anywhere on the structure, so as to make the entire sculpture unique and creative. Different compositions are available upon request.
Rakumba
Fondata nel 1968, Rakumba è un'azienda d'illuminazione con sede a Melbourne. I loro design prendono ispirazione dalla cultura aborigena ed europea, come a sottolineare il background multiculturale australiano. Studio Truly Truly
Truly Truly is a Dutch design studio based in Dordrecht, founded by Australian husband-wife duo Joel and Kate Booy. Their projects combine function with the sensuality of forms: thanks to the study of Dutch design and their background in graphic design, Truly Truly creates objects with artistic lines. In fact, their motto is “doing things well, honestly and artistically”. The studio collaborates with brands such as Leolux, Rakumba, Tacchini and many others.
