Since 2020, under new ownership, Van Rossum has expanded its vision of contemporary living, introducing a personal and innovative approach to furniture.

Thomas Haarmann is known for his sharp sensibility and a creative vision that spans multiple art forms. He approaches each project with curiosity, integrity, and a craftsman’s mindset, infusing his work with a distinctive aesthetic narrative shaped by his nomadic background. An interdisciplinary creative, Haarmann designs pieces for his own furniture line as well as for other brands, while also leading brand and identity development. His interior design projects—from private residences to commercial spaces—are marked by bold use of composition, scale, and light, resulting in tactile, refined, and informal atmospheres. Each project reflects his unique vision while capturing the personality of the client.
