Designed in 2010 by Damian Williamson for Zanotta, the William collection of monobloc and modular sofas stands out for its characteristic lines, with thin layered padding that envelops the structure, accompanied by aluminum feet. The 2015 re-edition introduces a new module with chaise longue, to be easily integrated with the sofa. Available in a variety of finishes and configurations.
Zanotta
Founded in 1954, Zanotta is recognized as one of the major protagonists in the history of Italian Design. The design of its products has always been carried out in collaboration with internationally renowned architects and designers such as Achille Castiglioni, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Joe Colombo, Carlo Mollino and Ross Lovegrove. The technologies used for production are numerous, in line with the company philosophy aimed at research and experimentation.
Damian Williamson (1974-2024) was a British designer, known for his ability to combine rigorous and organic expressions to create simple and innovative designs. After graduating in Product Design from Kingston University in London in 1998, he worked in various design studios before setting up his own studio in Stockholm in 2004. Since 2010 he has collaborated with Zanotta, contributing his creative vision to the design of numerous products.
