Designed in 1964 by the famous architect and designer Gae Aulenti, April is a comfortable and functional folding chair, inspired by the traditional "director's chair". Its stainless steel frame is enriched by aluminum alloy joints, while the upholstery, available in Vip (also suitable for outdoor use), Telastrong or Cuoio 95 leather, is easily removable.
Zanotta
Founded in 1954, Zanotta is recognized as one of the major protagonists in the history of Italian Design. The design of its products has always been carried out in collaboration with internationally renowned architects and designers such as Achille Castiglioni, Gae Aulenti, Ettore Sottsass, Joe Colombo, Carlo Mollino and Ross Lovegrove. Gae Aulenti
Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) was an internationally renowned Italian architect and designer, known for her innovative approach and ability to transform cultural spaces. She designed the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the renovation of Palazzo Grassi in Venice and the National Museum of Catalan Art in Barcelona, as well as numerous theatre and stage designs. He also worked in interior and furniture design, creating iconic pieces for companies such as FontanaArte. Her style mixed classicism and modernity, with a focus on material and light, making her one of the most influential figures in 20th century architecture and design.
