Cassina was founded in 1927 in Meda (Milan) by Cesare and Umberto Cassina, inaugurating industrial design in Italy in the 1950s. Charlotte Perriand was one of the fundamental figures in the history of modern design. Born in Paris in 1903, in 1927 she began to collaborate with Le Corbusier and Jeanneret, dealing with the research and development of interior spaces.
